Archive Digitisation Services

Tender description

NUI Galway Library requires Archive Digitisation Services including: digitisation, cataloguing and online publication of rare and historic archival collections with cultural heritage significance and of varying origin, age, condition and scale, incorporating a range of formats, media and languages; preparation of material for digitisation; utilisation and configuration of digital asset management systems; compliance with standards for archives, digitisation, metadata, preservation and other aspects; implementation of effective digital rights management and redaction systems. The service is to be provided on premises at NUI Galway Library and at other locations as may be designated by NUI Galway during the terms of the contract. Note: the requirement is not for standard document management services .
