Tender description

A range of building service term contracts for various inspections, testing, maintenance and reactive works across the SW Region. This contract consists of the Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) of fixed electrical installations at various properties. The contractor will be required to carry out the testing, inspections, with the resulting reports in a manner that produces a consistent workload spread evenly throughout each 12 month period. The contractor shall arrange as far as is practicable for the programme of works to be developed to enable the due by dates to be met. This contract consists of the Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) of fixed electrical installations within Torbay Harbour Authority's Estate. The contractor will be required to carry out the testing, inspections, with the resulting reports in a manner that produces a consistent workload spread evenly throughout each 12 month period. The contractor shall arrange as far as is practicable for the programme of works to be developed to enable the due by dates to be met. The works described in this specification relate to asbestos surveying, sampling and reinspection at various buildings/sites, in accordance with the guidance set out in HSE publication HSG 264 ‘Asbestos – The Survey Guide’. The scope of this contract shall include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, plant, haulage and carnage, required for the lift works detailed in this specification to provide a service agreement to carry out inspections as LEIA code of practice LM01 2013 Annex B as per property list and service frequency schedule, all repairs required to be quoted within timescales as described within section four (4). Auto/powered door inspections and maintenance at various properties. Maintenance of intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems at various properties. The maintenance/servicing of the lightning protection system will be carried out to BS EN 62305:2011 (as amended). Protection against lighting. The contractor will be a member of The Association of Technical Lightning & Access Specialists or an associated trade body. Any subsequent lightning protection installation work that may be required to be carried out during the period of this contract will be carried out to BS EN 62305:2011 (as amended) and by a contractor qualified to BS EN 62305:2011. Any subsequent electrical works that may be required to be carried during the period of this contract will be carried out to BS7671:2018 (as amended) and by an Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) member, NIC EIC approved contractor or equal equivalent. The works described in this specification relate to water hygiene and are those required to monitor and maintain (service) the hot and cold water systems, at various buildings/sites, in accordance with the guidance set out in L8, the control of legionella bacteria in water systems, approved code of practice and guidance.
