Tender description

The State Laboratory requires information from the market to enable knowledge regarding market capabilities regarding the upcoming purchase of routine tandem GC-MS/MS. The proposed tandem GC-MS/MS system is intended to be used for quantitative, confirmatory analysis of post and ante-mortem blood samples for:- i) Betahydroxybutyric acid (BHB) and Gamma Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB); ii) Venalfaxine and Tramadol and other similar substances. The proposed tandem GC-MS/MS system is also intended to be used for routine, quantitative, confirmatory analysis of the following substances in e-liquids (i.e. liquids used in electronic cigarettes or similar devices):- iii. Ethylene Glycol and Diethylene Glycol iv. Carbonyl compounds (including, but not limited to, Acetaldehyde, Acrolein, Crotonaldehyde, Formaldehyde, Diacetyl, Acetyl Propionyl) v. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) (including, but not limited to, 1,3-butanediene, Acrylonitrile, Benzene, Toluene) vi. Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) vii. Flavour Compounds (including, but not limited to, Isopulegol, Pulegol, Menthol, Menthon, Isomenthon) viii. Aromatic Amines
