SWS 2020 Electrical Upgrade Works

Tender description

This project entails the installation of a new fire alarm system and emergency lighting system in the building. The building is a single-storey building with a total approximate floor area of 1,400m². The scope of the works will be as follows: • Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of the existing fire alarm system, associated cabling, cable containment, devices, panels, etc. throughout the building. • Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of the existing emergency lighting system, existing emergency light fittings, associated cabling, cable containment, devices, etc. throughout the building. • Supply and installation of a new fire alarm system including all devices, panels, cabling, cable containment, etc. throughout the building as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specifications. • Supply and installation of a new emergency lighting system including all devices, light fittings, cabling, cable containment, etc. throughout the building as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specifications. • Supply and installation of new cable containment throughout the building for the new electrical services as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specifications. • All associated electrical works as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specifications. • All builders’ works associated with the above. See ‘Builders Work Schedule’ in ‘Volume C1 – Pricing Schedule’ for further details. • Acting as Project Supervisor Construction Stage for the project. • Remedial Works – Passive fire protection works in accordance with the specifications and drawings. • All other items as indicated in drawings and detailed in specifications.
