Tender description

To provide a complete service to Anglian Water for the planned and reactive identification, collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of hazardous waste (and other ad hoc liquid waste) from its sewer network and treatment centres, ensuring compliance with all applicable EU and UK legislation and standards. The services are to include the tankering and disposal services/sites. The scope of this agreement is to provide a complete service to Anglian Water for the planned and reactive identification, collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of hazardous waste (and other ad hoc liquid waste) ensuring compliance with all applicable EU and UK legislation and standards. The services are to include the tankering and disposal services/sites, either directly or via a brokering service where third parties are required, the supplier will be fully responsible for the management and compliance of any such third parties. The supplier must hold all appropriate licences such as a waste carriers and brokers licence and ensure disposal sites hold the appropriate operating permits. The Supplier must provide all necessary paperwork and advisory services, including assisting in classification of the European Waste Code (EWC) and will be responsible for ensuring all compliance related aspects of documentation are met.
