Tender description

Research scientists in the School of Biosystems and Food Engineering will use the visible near-infrared spectrometer in food analysis, such as meat and milk samples. The wider user-group identified in UCD will use the portable device for in-situ measurement of crops, vegetation, soil, sediment, rock and solar irradiance in disciplines such as agronomy, ecology, soil science, geomorphology, geochemistry and climate science. In the laboratory, the device will be used to analyse prepared samples.
