Tender description

Integrated Urgent Care services contract for the Hampshire and Surrey Heath Partnership Provision of NHS 111. Integrated Urgent Care services to all patients visiting, registered and resident in the following CCG geographies: South Eastern Hampshire CCG Fareham and Gosport CCG (Lead CCG) North Hampshire CCG North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG, Portsmouth CCG, Southampton City CCG, West Hampshire CCG, Surrey Heath CCG. In addition, NHS England – South (Wessex) have a requirement for a dental advice service. The contracting authorities are awarding to South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS). The contract is being let for 5 years with an option to extend for an additional 2 years. Some services will be subcontracted in their entirety by the prime provider to two separate subcontractors. The value of the contract is based on a 5 + 2 year award across all participating organisations. These services are currently contracted piecemeal and this service will allow the integration of services where possible and bring together the quality governance processes under an overarching system. The contract is being let for 5 years with an option to extend for an additional 2 years. Some services will be subcontracted in their entirety by the prime provider to two separate subcontractors. The value of the contract is based on a 5 + 2 year award across all participating organisations. The proposed contract value is £ 19.0 m per annum from 1 June 2021, with potential additional costs of up to £ 3.0 m dependent on the uncertainties detailed in PIN justification documentation previously published.
