Tender description

The development of ‘The Deal 2030 Care and Support Ethical Framework’ is intended to establish a strong partnership of the very best care and support providers, all of whom share Wigan Council’s values, attitudes and behaviours and an absolute commitment to helping people to live happy and fulfilled lives. Building on the success of its predecessor the Framework will be the key mechanism for commissioning with confidence the best ethical providers who provide asset-based support to their customers, whilst rewarding and recognising the important role of their caring and compassionate workforce. This framework consists of 17 lots: Lot 1: Homecare Services; Lot 2: End of Life Care and Support at Home; Lot 3: Complex Health Services including Nursing at Home; Lot 4: Extra Care; Lot 5: Supported Living for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Physical Disabilities; Lot 6: Supported Living for people with Mental Health Needs; Lot 7: Day Opportunities; Lot 8: Non-Personal Care; Lot 9: Complex Care and Support including Transforming Care; Lot 10: Homelessness Service; Lot 11: Temporary and Supported Accommodation; Lot 12: Community Rehabilitation and Specialist Services; Lot 13: Adult Respite; Lot 14: Delegated Healthcare Tasks Training; Lot 15: Community Care and Support at Night; Lot 16: Direct Payments and Personal Budgets; Lot 17: Children’s Services, Opportunities for Children, Young People and their families who need additional help and support.
