Gas Networks Ireland are currently procuring national network services and works contracts. The national network services and works contracts are divided into two (2) separate lots, with each lot awarded separately: Lot 1: PE and metering; Lot 2: system operations and ancillary services. These contracts will be term contracts for a duration of 3 years with two options to extend by a period of 12 months up to 5 years in total. It is expected that these national network services and works contractors will require large numbers of subcontractors to supplement their own resources. The purpose of this PIN notice is to establish a list of subcontractors that network services and works contractors may choose to appoint over the duration of the project. As per the PIN document. This PIN notice will give subcontractors an opportunity to provide information on their capabilities to the network services and works contractors. The selection of subcontractors from this list will be at the discretion of the network services and works contractors. A process for the establishment of the national network services and works contractors is being run under a separate notice (tender reference 19/120). GNI will have no involvement in any agreement made between subcontractors and the successful contractors.
