In summary, the services comprise: 1) Merchant acquiring services — the settlement services allowing the funds to pass from the end user’s (payer) account into a framework client’s bank account for payment of items and services. 2) Payment gateway services – services which facilitate a payment transaction by the transfer of information between a payment portal (such as a website, mobile phone or interactive voice response service) and merchant acquiring service provider.
