Provision of Theatre Adviser Services

Tender description

The Arts Council wishes to appoint a Theatre Adviser, to assist the Council in the process of evaluating applications received from individuals and organisations for awards, schemes, grants and other funding opportunities offered by the Council. In Theatre, the number of applications for which a written assessment report is required within a calendar year is expected to be 400 approx. Also, to maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of Theatre in Ireland and overseas, including the identification of new trends, and to ensure that the Council is provided with intelligence on same in a timely and appropriate manner; and to provide written evaluation reports on the artistic quality of the work of both: (i) individual artists and organisations funded by the Arts Council and (ii) new and potential applicants
