Tender description

This is a one-off contract for the supply and delivery of LNG ISO tanks. SGN intends to appoint a supplier to provide the design, manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of 4 transportable liquefied natural gas (LNG) ISO tanks. The transportable LNG ISO tanks should be designed, manufactured, tested, inspected and certified to current UK and EU directives and legislation, and appropriate british, european, american and international technical codes and standards as appropriate. The units must comply with The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations (CDG 2009) SI 2009, No 1348, and the provisions of: European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR); Regulations Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) for units which can be transported by rail; and The International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG).
