Tender description

Bristol City Council is seeking tender responses for annual insurance policies for a long-term agreement for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The contract will commence on 1 April 2020. The tender covers three (3) lots comprising of the following: — Lot 1: Motor Fleet — Bristol City Council, — Lot 2: Motor Fleet — Bristol Waste Company Ltd, — Lot 3: Motor Fleet — Bristol City Council and Bristol Waste Company Ltd. All insurers must hold an AM Best rating of BBB+ or equivalent otherwise their submission will be automatically rejected. You are invited to submit tender responses for all or any individual lot(s). Under this contract the contractors and their supply chains will be required to actively participate in the achievement of the contracting authority’s social/economic/environmental objectives. Accordingly, contract documents may relate to social/economic/environmental considerations. Motor insurance coverage and associated services (excluding broking services) as required by Bristol City Council.
