Birr 2020 CLG is seeking to engage a multidisciplinary team to undertake a study on several aspects of the Camcor River in the area around Birr town.

Tender description

To deliver a study that provides comprehensive suite of actionable projects which can that which will provide a plan for (a) The management of the river and the river corridor with an appropriate balance of use between civic amenity and wildlife – with particular reference to walking / amenity access between the Castle and Springfield Bridge on the Kinnitty Road (b) Provide guidance to Birr Municipal District and Birr Tidy Towns on the management of the river in the areas under their control. It is anticipated that the team should have strong expertise in understanding river channel management; ecology; and landscaping with an ability to liaise widely amongst the various agencies and landholders involved.
