Therapeutic Services for Employees

Tender description

Cumbria County Council is inviting providers to submit a tender for a Therapeutic Services for Employees contract. One provider will offer a a County-Wide Service for employee therapeutic services (e.g. Person-centred Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour therapy) to support employee wellbeing, help facilitate employees returning to work or to maintain attendance. The provider will use their network of counsellors to provide a therapeutic support service to employees of the council. The council will contact the provider to provide employees with 4 initial face to face appointments with a recognised accredited practitioner of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) or equivalent. Additional sessions may be arranged with the Occupational Health Service by prior agreement. It is estimated approximately 1,400 sessions per year will be required throughout the county.
