South Downs National Park Authority Schools Survey 2020

Tender description

The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) wishes to commission a research agency to undertake our third survey of schools to build on the baseline and follow up data collected in 2014 and 2017 respectively. With around 900 schools within the South Downs National Park and in the 10km buffer area, there is huge potential to promote opportunities for understanding the special qualities of the area. There are over 100 providers of learning outside the classroom opportunities located within and near the South Downs National Park, offering a diverse range of learning experiences, from farm visits to museums and more 'adventurous' activities. The purpose of the survey is to ascertain the proportion of schools within our catchment area that are using the South Downs National Park for learning outside the classroom. The results of the survey will feed into our strategic planning regarding engagement with schools to further encourage learning outside the classroom.
