School catering services

Tender description

The successful supplier will be required to provide catering services for Southport Learning Trust at the following schools: • Greenbank High School, • Stanley High School, • Kew Woods Primary School. Southport Learning Trust is a Multi Academy Trust currently consisting of three academies all located in the Southport area of North West England. There are two high schools and one primary school. These three schools will be included in the invitation to tender at this time. A fourth school will join the Trust in September 2020. The contract will be for three years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. • Greenbank High School ~ 1012 pupils, • Stanley High School ~ 608 pupils, • Kew Woods Primary School ~ 428 pupils. The Trust is looking for a catering provider who is experienced and innovative in providing catering services to the education sector and specifically for multi academy trusts. The successful supplier will be expected to uphold high standards of food and service, demonstrating a strong commitment to healthy eating and to increasing sales. A high level of contract support will be expected. Please note there will be some employees in the local government pension scheme, therefore admitted body status will be expected.
