Tender description

Hire of various skips open and locked up to 16 cubic. All waste and recycling of waste will be managed by the contractor. Waste includes metals, woods, plastics. Contract will be for 3 years with an option to extend for an additional 24 months in total. Provide the hire of multiple sized skips from 8 cubic skips to 16 open and lockable skips. All waste will be managed and recycled and shall be included in the skip hire price. Three years contract with prices fixed for the first 12 months, thereafter an annual price review based on the CPI indexation shall apply. Any award of contract will be based on the most economically advantageous tender evaluated using the following percentage weightings price 60/quality 35/workforce matters 1 and community benefits 4. Insurance employers liability GBP 10 m, public/pollution liability GBP 5 m and valid motor insurance fit for the purpose of the business. Financial evaluations will be based on D&B scores of a minium 35. Community benefits will include waste management training, work placements and social, environmental and economical benefits listed in the tender.
