GB-Shrewsbury: AMCV 290 - Shropshire Housing Advice and Homelessness Prevention

Tender description

This is an award notice for a housing advice and homelessness prevention assistance service in conjunction with Shropshire Council Housing Services ("Housing Services"). The service is to operate throughout Shropshire, free of charge to the applicant at the point of need, and/or through referral from Housing Services. The service will in its own right deliver a comprehensive housing information and advice service and will complement Housing Services' provision of housing advice and homelessness prevention. In particular the Provider will work with Service Users to keep their Personalised Housing Plans under regular review, to assist Service Users with the completion of any other relevant paperwork or forms and to take any reasonable steps, in conjunction with Housing Services to help prevent Service Users from becoming homeless. The duration of the contract will be for an initial term of 1 year with effect from 1st April 2020 with an option to extend the contract by 1 year at a time up to a further 2 years subject to contract performance and budget availability.
