Tender description

This tender is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) lines, Medial Venous Catheter (Midlines), Central venous catheter (CVC) lines, Distal Tip Location Systems, CVC Procedure Packs and Central Line Protectors/Stabilizers. The duration of the framework agreement will be 4 years maximum; 2 years initial period with the option of extending for up to 24 months. This lot is for the supply of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC Lines), Medial Venous Catheter (Midlines) and Central venous catheter (CVC) lines and distal tip location systems. This includes the supply of PICC lines, Midlines and CVC lines which are used to give medicines and other fluids via a long thin hollow flexible tube called a catheter. These products must be single use, sterile, latex free and DEHP Free. It should be delivered in suitable packaging protecting and describing the product. PICC lines should be available in single, dual or triple lumen. Midlines should be available in single or dual lumen. CVC lines; the implantable port should be available with a single or double port incorporating single and dual lumen. Tunneled catheters should be available in a minimum of a dual lumen. This lot also include distal tip location systems. Distal tip location system is an ECG system dedicated to CVC distal tip positioning. It allows magnetic tracking of the PICC tip during insertion and confirmation of the final location using ECG System. It enables more accurate insertion of central lines and as a result minimising the risk of thrombosis. It should be compatible with all kind of CVC including PICC Line, Midline and CVC lines. The display screen of the device should have clear uniform visualisation, must feature key information, should include visual and/or audible alert systems for any faults or problems and should provide a clear indication of battery life. Terms and conditions/activity based income (ABI) The terms and conditions of this framework agreement and any resulting call-off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE. Submission of expressions of interest and procurement information. This exercise will be conducted on the HTE Bravo portal. Candidates wishing to be considered must register expressions of interest as follows: — register on the HTE portal at https://healthtrusteurope.bravosolution.co.uk — login to the portal with username/password; — click the SQs/ITTs; — open to All Suppliers link. These are the SQs/ITTs open to any registered supplier; — click on the relevant SQ/ ITT to access the content; — click the Express Interest button at the top of the page. Under this lot the supplier will provide CVC procedural packs. A procedural pack is a specific set of disposable medical products provided in a single packed sterile tray format. As an indication, CVC procedure packs may contain the components listed below: • PICC, Mid or CVC line in a variety of sizes and materials; • nitinol or Steel Guidewires in .0.18 with radiopaque features for greater radiopacity; • dilator; • sheath introducer; • 1 safety scalpel/blade; • 1 x 10 ml syringe; • blue or green safety needle; • huber type needle (for access into implantable port only). Under this lot the supplier will provide central line protectors/stabilizers. This could include a range of products to keep lines in place and protect lines from being accidentally removed. Products must secure lines with either adhesive to the skin or non-adhesive or non-invasive, which might be in the form of wearable clothing. Products must be suitable for usage with neonates, paediatrics and/or adults of various sizes. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE.
