Tender description

This tender is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of goods including nebulisation and humidification devices, oxygen and aerosol therapy and associated consumables and accessories, breathing/anaesthetic systems and resuscitation devices and associated consumables and accessories, endotracheal and tracheostomy tubes and associated consumables and accessories • Lot 1: Nebulisation/Aerosol and Humidification/Oxygen Therapy and associated Consumables and Accessories; • Lot 2: Breathing/Anaesthetic Systems, Resuscitation Devices and associated Consumables and Accessories; • Lot 3: Endotracheal and Tracheostomy Tubes and associated Consumables and Accessories. This lot is for nebulisation and humidification therapy (single use disposables or reusable products) used in the course of treatment for respiratory ailments such as asthma, bronchitis and cystic fibrosis. Both nebulisers and humidifiers convert liquids into a fine mist that can easily be inhaled into the airways to alleviate respiratory symptoms. These products include but are not limited to water sterile humidification/nebulisation with either connector or nebuliser adapter, mouthpiece/mask with plastic connector and adult/paediatric facemasks oxygen and aerosol mask with head strap, nasal cannulas, aerosol drainage bags. Endotracheal and tracheostomy tubes This lot is for endotracheal tubes that serve as an open passage through the upper airway. The purpose of endotracheal/tracheostomy intubation is to permit air to pass freely to and from the lungs in order to ventilate the lungs. Endotracheal/tracheostomy tubes can be connected to ventilator machines to provide artificial respiration. These products include but are not limited to nasal endotracheal tubes cuffed with murphy eye, endotracheal tube header comfort fix and reinforced endotracheal tube cuffed. Tracheostomy tubes both cuffed and uncuffed, fenestrated and un-fenestrated tubes. Resuscitation devices and consumables (single use products or reusable products) used in the course of manual resuscitation devices offering a reliable, affordable option for nearly every patient situation. These products include but are not limited to CPR Masks, mouth to mouth face shield, resuscitation manual bag value mask (disposable). Breathing/anaesthetic systems and accessories (single use products and reusable products) used in the course for delivering oxygen and anaesthetic agents and to eliminate carbon dioxide during anaesthesia. They consist of different components: breathing tubes, aerosol drainage bags, breathing system nitrous oxide filter with mouthpiece or breathing circuit.
