Tender description
UCD is aware of the Electric Vehicle market development and the highlights in significance of transport in the emission challenge facing Ireland. With this Purchase, UCD wants to encourage greater uptake of electric vehicles amongst consumers by owning and operating Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) in order to support its own daily road transport requirements thereby showing leadership through action to others. UCD employees will get firsthand practical experience of operating and travelling in a BEV while using a combination of office based charging and national charging infrastructure.
