Tender description

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is seeking the Provision of window cleaning services (the ‘Service’) for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. This provision is broken down into the following three lots: Lot 1: High Level Window Cleaning Services and Specialist Cleaning of City Beach Lights, Lot 2: Standard Window Cleaning Services – (Up to 3 Levels from Ground), Lot 3:` Window Cleaning Services for listed buildings incorporating Lead Light Windows. The provision of high level window cleaning services and specialist cleaning of city beach lights is required as follows: All external and internal window cleaning service operations and specialist cleaning of city beach lights shall be carried out, as required, over a 5-day week from Monday to Friday or as otherwise agreed with the individual premises site supervisor/facilities manager as designated within the schedule. Access to some premises may be restricted at certain times of day. The contractor shall, in such cases, be responsible for obtaining a mutually convenient date and time for access.
