Tender description

This is for the supply of used cars for training purposes to Kineton and Bicester. Around 48 cars per month to Kineton and 15 cars per year to Bicester. This was competed through DCO on Open procedure and follows on from the previous contract that ended April 2019. DEMS Trg Regt delivers Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) and Search training. In any given month up to 48 used cars are required for training purposes. These cars will need to be in visually serviceable condition and to include all doors, windows, boot bonnet and internal fittings. They must be capable of being moved around on 4 wheels and include ignition keys. On a typical training day this involves 15-20 vehicles being transported out to different locations around the Felix Training Area (FTA) Kineton and locations around Bicester. These vehicles are rotated through various scenarios until they can no longer be used and then stored awaiting disposal.
