Tender description

Contractors are invited to tender for the proposed works, which include hoarding to secure the working area as applicable, the construction and erection of a portal frame (steel structure and cladding only) over an existing underground slurry storage tank, including all associated works. The Contractor must act as PSCS and manage general Health and Safety within a live college environment, with specific cognisance of working over an existing tank. Please note that all works are to be carried out in strict adherence with the current Building Regulations, Technical Guidance Documents and Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine Specifications. Given the nature of the facility (college environment), the works have to be completed within a restricted spatial area. It should also be noted that given the nature of the work involved and moreover the lead-in time associated with pertinent materials, the tendering Contractor must satisfy himself/herself that he/she has both the technical capacity and specialist human / schedule resources available to commit to the pertinent scope and schedule.
