Strategic Communications plan for the Agri-Hort Skills Leadership Group

There is widespread recognition that the industry's skills needs should be better assessed, understood and delivered and that employers should be encouraged to view labour as a key asset and investment not just a cost. Transforming the industry's approach to skills and securing a professional image will require concerted effort and collaboration over time. In June 2018 a small commissioning group, linked to the Food and Drink Sector Council, has developed an innovative and challenging skills strategy as a starting point to begin this transformation. This strategy combines the recommendations made in recent years from various organisations and stakeholders into one document for the whole of industry to consider and support. This RFQ seeks to secure communications expertise to support the initial delivery of the skills strategy for the period March 2020 to September 2020 (6 months).
