Tender description

Northern Powergrid (NPg), part of Berkshire Hathaway Energy (BHE) is seeking to let a contract for the provision of electric plant storage. NPg Northeast and NPg Yorkshire requires temporary storage of plant items prior to delivery to the contractors for installation on site. Two storage facilities are required one in each licence area along the A1/M62/A19 transport corridors with a floor space of approx. 500 m2 each. The facilities are to be under cover (i.e. warehouses), meet NPg's environmental and security requirements and the inventory is to be effectively managed and controlled.
