Tender description

The procurement project was seeking to lease laboratory equipment and to purchase consumables/reagents which will deliver an evaluative implementation of Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) as a second line screen for the first and second trimester trisomy 21, 13 and 18 screening programme. It aims to provide a better patient experience by improving the diagnostic performance of the screen with the offer of NIPT as a second line screen. The requirement was for services for a single supplier for the lease of equipment to undertake NIPT that focuses on T13, T18 and T21. The tender will include the following areas: — NIPT testing equipment — associated reagents and consumables — complete IT solution for analysis, reporting and short-term data storage.
