Tender description

Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, through the City of Edinburgh Council would like to engage the services of a provider to deliver day opportunities for older people in the South West Locality. The service will be delivered from the Council’s Canalside Centre in Wester Hailes and is subject to lease arrangements with the City of Edinburgh Council. The purpose of this PIN is for market engagement only. The service will offer a range of supports including personal care, nutritional meal and snacks and transport to and from the centre and a varied range of meaningful activities and outings that promote physical and mental well-being. The service will provide support to older people living with dementia or cognitive impairment and those people who may be physically frail. A minimum of 100 placements will be provided each week, over 52 weeks of the year.
