GMIT MEDICAL IMAGING FACILITY 2020

Tender description

The Contracting Authority (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology) intends to award a works contract under the open procedure for refurbishment works associated with the conversion of an area within the existing IHub building in GMIT, Dublin Road, Galway into a new medical imaging facility which will house a new flouroscope imaging machine. The general scope of the main contractor's work includes demolitions and alterations, new floor, wall and ceiling finishes, internal and external doors and screens and mechanical and electrical fit out works. The supply and installation of the flouroscope will be completed by "Phillips" under a separate contract, however the Main Contractor is required to programme, coordinate, facilitate and attend upon Phillips during its installation of the Flouroscope. The main contractor will be required to commission all services following the installation of the Flouroscope. Please refer to the attached documentation for further details.
