Tender description

Hertfordshire NHS Procurement on behalf of the listed contracting authorities is carrying out Pre-Procurement Market Engagement (‘PPME’) in relation to the provision of nutrition supply services including feeds, pumps, consumables and a home delivery service in Hertfordshire and West Essex. The Trusts will consider the feedback received to help inform their options and further decision making. For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Trusts are not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the PPME shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PPME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in the PPME will be at each organisation’s own cost. No expense in responding to this PPME will be reimbursed by the Trusts. Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Groups and West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG’s), West Hertfordshire NHS Trust, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, and Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, are exploring options to collaborate as an STP (Hertfordshire and West Essex Sustainability and Transformation Partnership) to provide an enteral feed service encompassing supply into both hospitals and patient's homes. To include: • supply and delivery of feed products to acute hospital trusts; • delivery of FP10 feed products to patients in the community; • supply and delivery of plastic and ancillary products to acute hospitals and patients in the community.
