DUD - BCI - Combined Forklift Truck Training (Counterbalance & Reach)

Tender description

To deliver a combined Forklift Truck Training (Reach and Counter Balance) to eligible 18-29-year olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) across the Black Country. Course should cover a range of topics such as, but not limited to: o Introduction to course o Responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, PUWER 98 & LOLER 98 o Regulations o Maintenance and Battery charging procedures o Forklift Terminology o Factors affecting stability o Motive controls and Hydraulic controls o Manoeuvring in open and confined areas o Stacking at various levels o Vehicle Inspections & running & checks o Safe operating methods o Practical Assessment o Vehicles loading and unloading o Proximity Hazards & Risk Assessments o Theory & Practical Training Sessions & Assessment/Tests o Code of practice and safety codes relevant to the operation
