Develop and Implement a Food Safety Management System to Achieve ISO 22000 Certification

Bord na Móna will be looking for a consultant/consultancy company to; • Work with the BNM team to develop, plan, implement, operate and maintain a Food Safety Management System for medicinal herbs, providing products and services that are safe, in accordance with their intended use, with the primary aim to attain ISO 22000 certification • Ensure that the company demonstrates compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory food safety requirements • Establish, maintain and update flow diagrams as documented information for the products and processes covered by the FSMS • Develop operational plans and controls including a traceability system • Establish pre-requisite programs • Identify hazards and determine acceptable levels through hazard assessment • Establish, implement and maintain verification activities • Develop control measures for products and process nonconformities and corrective actions • Train BNM employees to  Understand the requirements of ISO 22000 and to effectively implement and maintain a food safety management system within an organisation  Implement ISO 22000 processes and procedures  Conduct ISO 22000 internal audits  Effectively manage document control  Continually improve the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the FSMS
