The Sourcing of Sponsorship Monies for Cycling Events, Including the Final Stage of the Tour of Britain 2021

Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council (“the Authority”) invites Quotes from suitably qualified suppliers (“Potential Suppliers”) for the provision of sourcing sponsorship monies for cycling events, including the Isle of Wight stage of the Tour of Britain to be held in September 2021. The Authority has secured the rights to the final stage of the 2021 Tour of Britain which will take place in September 2021 (date to be confirmed). The Authority is therefore seeking an experienced fundraiser to secure sponsorship on a commission only basis. The council does not intend to pay any retainer or fixed fee. The term of the contract shall be 11 May 2020 until 30 September 2023. During this term the Authority can call off from the appointed Supplier sourcing of sponsorship services for events. Under this procurement process the Authority is looking to specifically instruct the sourcing of sponsorship monies for the final stage of the Tour of Britain in 2021 which will be held on the Isle of Wight. Whilst the agreement will be available until 30 September 2023 for further commissions, the Authority makes no guarantee that any future work will be instructed under this contract.
