The provision of Secretary Services to the Board of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.

Tender description

The successful service provider will provide services of secretary to the Board of the Client. The services comprise of providing services of secretary to the Board of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland including; supporting the Board, the business of the Board of the Client through the preparation and maintenance of board documentation and papers, providing assurance and legal and procedural advice in relation to the Board’s powers and modus operandi and liaison with the Executive on any matters requested by the Board. Also included in this specialised service is the preparation of the agenda, the conduct of the business and the recording of the proceedings of: • the Board of SEAI • the Committees of the Board of SEAI (Audit and Risk Committee, the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat Committee and the Performance Management and Remuneration Committee) in close liaison with the Chair, Chief Executive and Head of Corporate Services. The requirement is for an individual as opposed to a team to provide the service with the requirement to provide the service for up to 10 meetings of the Board and up to 16 meetings of Committees of the Board per annum. There will also be approximately an additional 20 electronic circulations of Board papers in relation to procurement and grant approval decisions per annum.
