Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail (“IE”), invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process to appoint suitably qualified companies to a qualification system for Station Painting and associated ancillary Works. This will include Station buildings , footbridges & lift shafts,passenger facilities ,staff welfare offices & facilities,fencing /masonry boundry treatment, platform/car park markings and heritage railway structures.70% of the Stations and structures are listed protected structures under Planning Law. Works will comprise of preparation and/or repair / part replacement and painting protective coatings to internal & external building fabric,external structural & secondary timber /metalworks and safety platform/car park surface markings.Minor building repair work ancillary to larger Painting program maybe included at locations Works in and around a railway safety critical environment keeping client business operational will be key for delivering Station painting program.Contractor should have a proven customer focused quality and safety ethos.
