Tender description

The service entails the provision and maintenance of suitable textile storage banks at various locations specified in the contract into which the members of the public may deposit their textile waste. Textile waste may also be stockpiled by Devon Authorities at their depots as part of their kerb-side collection schemes. The service provider will collect textile waste from storage banks or specified stockpiles and facilitate their recycling or re-use. The service provider will collect and recycle textile waste deposited by the members of the public in the storage banks provided by the contractor as well as textile waste that the District Councils of Devon collect and stockpile at their depots in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
