Tender description

Suffolk County Council are currently out to tender for the provision of a public analyst service for the analysis of food and animal feed on behalf of Suffolk Trading Standards. This opportunity is available in the ‘Current Tenders’ area of portal. Interested parties are invited to express their interest to gain full access to the tender documentation. The deadline date for submissions of the tender is 5 February 2020 at 12.00 noon. Please note late returns will not be permitted The deadline for clarification questions is 27 January 2020 which must be generated via the correspondence option on the website. Provision of a public analyst service for the testing and analysis of goods and samples submitted by Suffolk Trading Standards for the purpose of enforcing the following legislation: (i) Food Safety Act 1990; (ii) Agriculture Act 1970; (iii) Any other legislation where it is agreed that the contractor has access to appropriate facilities and qualification to test the goods or samples.
