Lot 1: area will include the following counties: Kildare, Meath, Offaly and Laois. It is estimated that between 35-40 households will require turf in lot 1. The Department is seeking tenders from suppliers of cut turf who can make an annual delivery of an amount equivalent to 15 tonnes of turf suitable for domestic heating to individuals who qualify under the cessation of turf cutting compensation scheme. Lot 2: Area will include the following counties: Galway, Roscommon, Longford and Westmeath. It is estimated that between 35-40 households will require turf in lot 2.
