The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services investigating micro-plastic loadings in Nephrops and sediments between May 2020 and May 2021 A requirement exists for the analysis of micro-plastics loadings in Nephrops norvegicus (Norway lobster/ Dublin Bay prawn) and sediment samples from their primary six fishing grounds (Functional Units) around Ireland: • Functional Unit 15 – Irish Sea-West • Functional Unit 16 – Porcupine • Functional Unit 17 – Aran • Functional Unit 19 – SW and SE coast • Functional Unit 20-21 – Labadie, Jones and Cockburn • Functional Unit 22 – Smalls
