Tender description

Thames Water wishes to award one or more framework agreements to supplier(s) capable of supplying valves directly, or on behalf of its contractors in AMP 7. The product will be suitable for use in clean water and waste water operations. There is also a requirement for maintenance of valves. The agreement will be covered by the following lots: Lot 1: Isolation Valves; Lot 2: Non return Valves; Lot 3: Air Valves; Lot 4: Penstocks; Lot 5: Hydrants; Lot 6: Valve maintenance. Agreements will be for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend to a maximum of 8 years (3 + 2 + 2 + 1). Volumes will not be committed with any suppliers. Thames Water reserve the right not to issue any awards for each lot or issue multiple awards for each lot of this agreement to achieve the most efficient and economical service solution, & the security and consistent continuity of supply and delivery. Thames Water reserve the right to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of all or any number of lots Supply of isolation valves including gate valves (resilient and metal faced), knife gate valves, butterfly valves (concentric and double eccentric), ball valves, gearbox, extension spindles and all accessories including spares. Scope also includes all accessories and spares Thames water reserves the right to award framework agreements to a single supplier or multiple suppliers. Supply of resilient hinged non-return valves for use within waste operations, resilient and metal seated non-return valves for use in clean water operations, general non-return valves and check valves. Scope also includes all accessories and spares. Thames water reserves the right to award framework agreements to a single supplier or multiple suppliers for NRV valves used in waste and water operations. Supply of water production air valves, water network air valves and all air valves for waste water applications. Scope also include all accessories and spares. Thames water reserves the right to award framework agreements to a single supplier or multiple suppliers. Lot 4A: Supply of stainless steel and cast-iron penstocks including all accessories and spares. Lot 4B: Supply and installation of stainless steel and cast-iron penstocks including all accessories and spares. Lot 4C: Full inspection of stainless steel and cast-iron penstocks, cloughs, weirs, (any associated flow control devices). Thames water reserves the right to award framework agreements to a single supplier or multiple suppliers for each sub-lot. Supply of standard and Through-bore Hydrants for water applications, as well as all associated spares and accessories. Thames water reserves the right to award framework agreements to a single supplier or multiple suppliers. Procurement is for planned and reactive repair (including emergency response) and maintenance of TWUL valves and associated equipment, including but not limited to, failure investigation, overhaul and servicing of the full valves types, sizes and makes used in the water and sewage industry. Repair may include all valve ancillary parts and equipment e.g gearboxes etc. Work will cover on and off-site work and may include, but not limited to, removal of plant from site, delivery, offloading, installation and commissioning. Thames water reserves the right to award framework agreements to a single supplier or multiple suppliers.
