This prior information notice serves to alert the marketplace to this upcoming opportunity. Cardiff Council will be taking on the renewal and future hosting of the following two national procurement service collaborative Construction Consultancy Frameworks: 1) Construction Consultancy infrastructure and estates phase 2 (NPS-PS-0027-15), 2) Construction and facilities consultancy additional services phase 3 (NPS-PS-0028-15). This prior information notice serves to alert the marketplace to this upcoming opportunity. Cardiff Council will be taking on the renewal and future hosting of the following two national procurement service collaborative Construction Consultancy Frameworks: 1) Construction Consultancy infrastructure and estates phase 2 (NPS-PS-0027-15), 2) Construction and facilities consultancy additional services phase 3 (NPS-PS-0028-15). The two frameworks currently cover the following disciplines: Construction Consultancy infrastructure and estates phase 2 (NPS-PS-0027-15) Multi-disciplinary infrastructure, civil engineering, highway engineering, transportation, flood risk mapping, modelling and analysis, water management, estates professional services, asbestos, site supervision aviation. Construction and facilities consultancy additional services phase 3 (NPS-PS-0028-15) Geotechnical, ground contamination, utility, master planning/urban design, nuclear, health and safety, archaeological/cultural heritage, CEEQUAL assessments, facilities management consultancy, residential development professional services. The new framework will likely cover similar disciplines with a similar lotting structure, though this is subject to change as Cardiff Council review the existing approach and spend profile through the framework to date and carry out scoping with key stakeholders. Expression of interest: The Council invites the market place to state an expression of interest in this procurement and invites interested prospective contractors to lodge an initial expression of interest for this opportunity on Sell2wales — https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/ Please note: following consideration of the expressions of interest the Council may wish to engage in further discussions with the organisations that expressed an interest. Dependent on the level of such initial interest the Council may undertake some soft market testing and preliminary discussions with potential providers that submit an interest to this PIN. Participating in this exercise will not guarantee short-listing at a later stage in the procurement and the Council reserves the right not to proceed with the procurement process. The Council will not meet any costs incurred by any party in responding to this notice. This PIN does not constitute a commitment by the Council to undertake a procurement exercise in the future.
