Tender description

The cliff stabilisation scheme will involve:- Demolition • Demolition and removal of existing 1970s transverse beams stabilisation schemes • Demolition and removal of an early masonry wall located on the cliff Proposed Construction • Installation of new service ducting ( water and power) • Prepare existing cliff face to allow the installation of the soil stabilisation system • Supply and install on the existing cliff face approx. 5500m2 of:- o Soil nailing, o structural mesh and o erosion protection matting The works will also involve monitoring the stability of the cliff during the works, and installation of temporary works to prevent damage to the beach huts.
