Building 17 Wind Tunnel Works and Alterations

Tender description

University of Southampton had identified that the existing control room was outdated in its appearance and in need of extensive modernising in response to market and client requirements. The proposal was to remodel and refurbish the space in order to provide a state-of-the-art facility suitable for use by existing and future corporate clients. Furthermore, the mechanical and electrical services to the workshop facilities and storage areas were believed to be poor and obsolete and it has been decided that these works were carried out in parallel with the control room refurbishment.
