Flats recycling Project is part of the WCSS Pickles Grant to improve and provide recycling facilities in flatted properties. Recycling collection of a minimum of two separate materials is a statutory service that Council need to provide to all residents regardless if they live in a house or a flat. In 2018, Luton Council adopted long term Waste Management Strategy to help all Luton residents Waste Less and Recycle More. This can only be achieved, if all residents have access to adequate recycling facilities. Luton has over 15,000-flatted properties, and with the numbers continuously increasing, we are facing more challenges in achieving our targets. Section 2: Service Requirement The service requires the supplier to produce signs in different sizes and be able to fit them as and when required. Signs will be fitted inside and outside and all need to be weather proofed. Fitting process will be undertaken over the whole year in stages following bins deliveries and education. Some of the signs will need to be fitted on the posts, some on the external or internal walls and some on the bin storeroom doors. Keywords: signes
