Tender description

Sligo County Council is seeking the full range of complimentary consultancy design team services to develop the project from review of part 8 planning approval, to securing all necessary statutory consents, to complete tender and construction documentation, tender evaluations, inspection of construction works and issue statutory certification on completion. The architect led design team shall provide services below: • architectural and project management services with a background in urban design, • quantity surveying services, • buildings services engineers — (mechanical and electrical, incl. public lighting design, audio and visual, smart city capability), • civil and structural engineering services, • exhibition/interpretation designer, • PSDP services — (health and safety), • fire and emergency access safety services. Sligo County Council is seeking a design team to deliver the plaza as a state of the art, modern civic space with a linked trail of two lengths. One short trail of 1.5 km within Sligo town and a longer 8.5 km route to Carns Hill. The successful landscape architect led design team will be responsible for detailed design, detailed cost estimate, the tender process and construction administration stages of the project.
