Tender description
Leicestershire County Council plans to build a 10MW solar farm, on the outskirts of Quorn (LE12) expected to generate approximately 8,790 MWh electricity per year. The Council is seeking to find an energy supplier to purchase the energy generated from the farm and potentially supply it back for Council properties. This is not a call for competitions, however, the Council anticipates that the subsequent contract will be awarded via a fully compliant procurement process (which will be advertised separately, following this market test exercise).
