Market Soundings Exercise for Provision of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

This market sounding is being conducted by Laois County Council to seek market feedback in order to understand the ability of the supply market to support the delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure within Portlaoise Town. As part of this process Laois County Council wishes to engage with the market to identify service providers who would be interested and to gain a clear understanding of market interests, market capabilities, market dynamics, market concerns and appropriate cost models and other relevant factors. Please note: This is not a call for competition. No tender documents are available and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. This is an information gathering exercise only, seeking the views of market operators on possible approaches that may be taken in a tender process which may be undertaken over the coming months. Such information may be used by the Contracting Authority to inform any specifications and procurement documents drafted in any future procurement competition for the provision of Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure.
