Tender description
Tenders are sought for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of a Cabinet Cage Washer for the Biomedical Facility in UCD. UCD Biomedical Facility is a climate controlled Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) rodent (rat and mice) unit run to FELASA Standards. It is regularly audited by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) and is compliant with SI 543 of 2012. It is a support unit for all biomedical research teams within UCD. Supports / services provided include:- - Veterinary Services including Training / Welfare / Animal Health Monitoring / Prescribing of Drugs - Animal husbandry and monitoring - Ethical advice and review (though the university’s Animal Research Ethics Committee) - Study Design and Statistical Review (via an external consultant) - Surgical Suite and other procedural areas - Imaging Suite - Decontamination and Sterilisation
