Tender description

THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION Following approval of our Carers Strategy 'All Together for Carers' in November and to align with the expiration of existing contractual arrangements in Autumn 2020, we are in the process of considering how we can deliver on the ambitions and priorities set out in the strategy through the recommission of the Carers Assessment and Support Service. As you may be aware, we are in the final stages of a public consultation related to the future Carers Offer in Staffordshire which is due to end on the 3rd January 2020, as well as drawing up pathways and undertaking an options appraisal, the results of which will be presented to cabinet in February 2020. In order to support and inform this activity, we would like to invite you to a Market Engagement Event. This event is for Organisations who are interested in supporting carers of all ages across Staffordshire, for the avoidance of doubt this includes young carers. The event is scheduled for the 3rd March 2020. The event will provide greater detail about what the future service will look like, including specific timescales and a 'getting tender ready' section. Attendee's are limited to one per organisation. If you are interested in a place at this event please contact Taryn Poole via email (taryn.poole@staffordshire.gov.uk ) advising of your intention to attend the event as well as the contact name, email address of the representative attending and the name of the organisation represented by Monday 24th February 5pm. Please also indicate the name and email address of any second representative you would like to attend should we have enough space at a later date. If there are any additional places available, I will email anybody who indicated a preference to send a second representative offering an additional place, on a first come first served basis.
